As an active work zone, Wingfield Park is closed to the public through the summer of 2026, weather permitting. Truckee River access is limited. Please refer to river detour maps below.

Navigate your way around construction.
Detour routes are in place for drivers, pedestrians/cyclists and river users. It is prohibited, and dangerous, to enter the work zone.
Traffic control beginning Monday, Sept. 29:
Arlington Ave./Island Ave. intersection will close to vehicle traffic for the demolition and reconstruction of the south bridge on Arlington Ave. The closure will be in place until further notice.
Traffic to Island Ave. east of the intersection can still access Island Ave. via Sierra St., or Court St. to Rainbow St.
Island Ave. east of the intersection will be periodically open for left turns from Arlington Ave. When it is closed, traffic will be detoured via Eloise Ave. Flaggers will direct vehicles when this two-way traffic configuration on Eloise Ave. is in place.
Pedestrians can use the crosswalk near Court St. to cross Arlington Ave.
