Closures & Detours:

Arlington Ave. closed between First St. and Island Ave.: 

Northbound traffic detoured to Center St. or Virginia St.; southbound traffic and pedestrians detoured to Sierra St.

Arlington Ave./First St. intersection: 

Closed to all vehicle traffic, cyclists, and pedestrians from March 23 to May 4. During the closure, travelers will be detoured from 1st St. to West St. (for westbound travel) or Ralston St. (for eastbound travel) to access 2nd St. Pedestrians can also use Roff Way as a detour route.

Arlington Ave./Island Ave. intersection: 

• Eastbound Access: The eastbound side of the intersection will continue to remain closed through Friday, May 15. Access to Island Ave. east of the closure will continue to be available via Court St. to Rainbow St., or Sierra St. to Island Ave.
• Westbound Access: From April 6 through April 20, the westbound turn from Arlington Ave. to Island Ave. will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During these daytime hours, flaggers will direct two-way traffic on Eloise Ave. The westbound turn will reopen at night.
• From April 20 through May 15, the westbound turn from Arlington Ave. to Island Ave. will be closed 24 hours a day, and flaggers will direct two-way traffic on Eloise Ave. to ensure ongoing access.
